What is Connecticut Nursing Services, LLC?
Connecticut Nursing Services, LLC (CNS) is a licensed
Homemaker-Home Health Aide agency that provides dedicated,
professional and courteous home care services.
What are the benefits of hiring
an agency?
You will pay the agency, which will assign you a caregiver,
and schedule his/her visit to you. With this arrangement, you
will be free from administrative and other responsibilities
involved in hiring a caregiver directly.
How many hours does a caregiver
spend with a patient?
Our supportive services are tailored to each individuals
needs. We provide care for as little as 1 hour a day to 24 hour
around the clock care.
How many years of experience
does the agency have?
Our professional team collectively brings over 20 years of
experience in private duty homecare. Together we work hand in
hand with our patients and family members to meet each
individuals needs.
What geographical area does CNS
cover?
We currently serve Fairfield and
Litchfield Counties as well as parts of New Haven County.
What is the agency's policy on
screening the Caregivers?
Every member of our team
undergoes an extensive background screening which includes the
following:

Resume of educational preparation and
work experience for each individual.

Current licensure, registration or
certification of each individual.

Written verification of compliance
with health examination and documents of clinical
competence.

Criminal background check

Reference verification.
Are the Caregivers insured?
All our Caregivers are fully bonded and insured in the State of
Connecticut.
In case of emergency, whom do I
call after hours?
The agency has a 24-hour
on-call service to ensure your urgent messages will be
immediately delivered to our Nurse Supervisor.
How can I pay for the service?
At the end of every service
week, the agency will bill, or invoice, you for the rendered
services included in your contract. You can either mail a check
(or money order), or call us to set up credit card payments.
How soon can a placement for
home care be made after a free home assessment?
There is a 24 – 72 hour turn
around time for our Case Management team to make a suitable
placement.
